Grow a Pet Fighter vs Grow a Dog Fighter: Player Counts Compared
Four games share this naming pattern and one loop, with four different developers. Measured side by side on 10 September 2026, plus what actually differs.
The four games, measured on the same day
Roblox's own search returns four experiences whose names follow the pattern Grow a ___ Fighter, and we read all four records in one query on 10 September 2026 so that the comparison is like for like. All four hold eight players per server.
Grow a Chicken Fighter, published 16 June 2026 by a group named after the game itself, with 99,558,781 visits and 16,682 concurrent players. Grow a Pet Fighter, published 16 August 2026 by God Bless Zak 7, with 660,789 visits and 1,389 players. Grow a Dog Fighter, published 9 August 2026 by Animal Trainers, with 354,248 visits and 260 players. Grow A Dragon Fighter, published 9 August 2026 by Call It Slop, with 348,585 visits and 215 players.
Four different creators is the finding here. This is not one developer shipping the same game four times under different animal names, which is what the shared language in their store pages would suggest if you did not check the publisher field. It is four separate groups using the same naming and description pattern.
The identical parts, quoted rather than paraphrased
Grow a Pet Fighter: find and hatch eggs to collect powerful pets, send your pets to the ARENA to battle, send them to the TOWER to climb as high as you can, fuse your pets together to create POWERFUL new pets, and your pets generate cash while you're offline.
Grow A Dragon Fighter: hatch eggs and collect rare dragons, send them to the ARENA to fight for money, fight your way up the tower and beat everyone, FUSE two Dragons into a mutated, rebirth to progress faster, use INSANE SPECIAL ABILITIES, and your Dragons keep laying eggs while offline.
Grow a Chicken Fighter: hatch eggs and collect rare chickens, send them to the PIT to fight for money, climb the TOWER and beat every boss, FUSE two chickens into a mutated monster, rebirth to earn way faster, unleash insane anime SPECIAL ABILITIES, and your chickens keep laying eggs while you're offline.
Grow a Dog Fighter is the odd one out and still recognisable: feed your dogs to keep them strong and growing, upgrade your yard to house bigger, tougher packs, fight your way up the tower to beat every boss, earn Dog Cages automatically while you are offline.
Same loop, four times, in four developers' own words. Hatching, an arena or pit, a tower, a fusion step, and something accumulating while you are away.
What actually differs between this game and the dog one
Two differences are visible in the text. Grow a Dog Fighter has a feeding system and a yard upgrade: dogs are kept strong by feeding them and housed by upgrading a yard, and it is the only game of the four that describes a maintenance loop rather than a collection loop. And it earns Dog Cages offline rather than cash, which is a naming difference unless cages are a separate resource, which nothing states.
Grow A Dragon Fighter and Grow a Chicken Fighter both add a rebirth step that this game does not mention, and both promise special abilities. Neither of those appears anywhere in Grow a Pet Fighter's description, which is either a real difference in the games or a difference in how much their developers wrote down. We cannot tell which, and it is the same question as the Build versus Grow mismatch on this game's own page: the descriptions are advertising, and the games are not obliged to match them line for line.
Player counts, read together
At 03:22 UTC on 10 September 2026, Grow a Chicken Fighter read 16,682 concurrent players, Grow a Pet Fighter 1,389, Grow a Dog Fighter 260 and Grow A Dragon Fighter 215. On visits, the gap is wider still: the chicken game has passed 99 million since June, while the other three, all published in August, sit between 348,000 and 661,000.
The age difference explains part of it and not all of it. Grow a Chicken Fighter has had two extra months, which for a game growing as fast as this genre does is a lot, and it is also the only one of the four whose description carries a code, which suggests a developer who is actively promoting it. Our own archive for Grow a Pet Fighter shows its median concurrent count rising from 265 to 1,755 in the week to 9 September, so the three August games are all still early in whatever curve they will follow.
One caution about reading a single snapshot: concurrent players move by the hour. The four figures above were taken within seconds of each other for exactly that reason, and any comparison assembled from four different days would be worthless.
What we have not checked
We have not played any of the other three games, so this page compares what their developers published and what Roblox reports, and nothing about how they play. We have not read their update histories, their pass lists beyond a count, or their communities, so we cannot say which of them is best maintained.
We also have not established any relationship between the four beyond the naming pattern and the shared description template. Four different creator groups is evidence against a common owner, and it is not evidence of who copied whom, which is a question about a document rather than about a fact we can measure. If you know which of the four came first in a way that can be checked, that is genuinely useful and this page would say so.
