How to Play Grow a Pet Fighter: The Five-Step Loop
The whole game as the developer describes it, in order, with the two steps this game does not document that the games beside it do.
The whole game, as written by the developer
Grow a Pet Fighter's store page carries four bullet points under the heading How to Play, and they are the complete instructions: find and hatch eggs to collect powerful pets, send your pets to the ARENA to battle, send them to the TOWER to climb as high as you can, and fuse your pets together to create powerful new pets. A fifth line, outside the list, adds that pets generate cash while you are offline.
That is the entire published account of what you do in this game. It is about seventy words long. Everything below is a reading of those words rather than an addition to them, and where this page goes beyond the description it says so.
Step one: hatch something
The loop starts with an egg, and it starts there for a structural reason rather than a stylistic one. Nothing else in the game can happen without a pet: the arena sends pets, the tower sends pets, fusion consumes pets, and offline income is generated by pets. So an egg is not the first thing you happen to do, it is the thing that unlocks the other three steps.
The description says find eggs rather than buy them, which is a small wording clue about where they come from. It could mean eggs are visible in the world and you walk to them, or that they sit in a shop you have to locate. It does not say whether hatching costs cash, and since cash is not mentioned until the final line about offline income, the description does not tell you how your first pet is paid for. That is the first practical question a new player has and the published material does not answer it.
Steps two and three: the two places a pet can go
The arena and the tower are the game's two destinations, and the description treats them as parallel rather than sequential: send your pets to the arena, and send them to the tower. Nothing says the tower unlocks after the arena or that one is for beginners. Both take pets, which means both are presumably limited by how many pets you have and how strong they are.
The difference the wording does give you is what success looks like. The arena sentence ends at battle, with no outcome named. The tower sentence ends at climb as high as you can, which implies a ladder with no published top. A game that wanted you to finish a tower would say so, and it does not, so the tower is more likely a score to push than a checklist to complete. That is a reading of a sentence and we are labelling it as one.
Both modes are also the reason fusion matters, since a stronger pet is the only documented way to do better in either. There is no level, no gear and no upgrade in the description other than fusing pets together.
Step four: fuse, which is the only progression the game documents
Fusion is the one instruction in the description that acts on a pet rather than sending it somewhere, and it is the only mechanic in the text that produces something stronger. The developer capitalises POWERFUL when describing the result, which is the only emphasis of its kind in the whole description.
What fusion costs is not stated for this game. Two games that share this game's naming pattern do state it in their own store descriptions, both saying two pets go in, and that is their documentation rather than this game's. We cover the difference on the fusion page rather than assuming the number transfers.
Step five, which happens while you are not playing
The last line of the description says pets generate cash while you are offline. That is unusual to see treated as a step rather than a footnote, and it is the game's clearest statement about how it wants to be played: it expects you to leave and come back. Every other game in this naming family documents offline income in the same place, in almost the same words, and so does the far larger Grow a Garden, which is a sign that this is the genre's standard shape rather than a distinctive feature of this game.
What the game does not say is what cash is for. The description never names a single thing to buy. The one game pass it sells doubles money for 199 Robux, which tells you the developer considers cash worth doubling, and beyond that the sinks are undocumented.
Two steps the games next door document and this one does not
Grow a Chicken Fighter's description lists rebirth to earn way faster and insane special abilities. Grow A Dragon Fighter's lists rebirth to progress faster and insane special abilities too. Both are published by different developer groups from this one, and both share this game's exact four-step shape before adding those two lines.
So either Grow a Pet Fighter has a rebirth step and abilities that its own description omits, or it does not have them. That is the honest state of the question and it is a good example of why this site quotes other games' descriptions instead of paraphrasing them: the overlap in the descriptions is the interesting part, and the differences are the part a player would care about.
What we have not checked
We have not played the game, so this page cannot describe the first five minutes of it: what you see when you join, whether there is a tutorial, whether the arena and tower are visible from where you spawn, or how the interface is arranged. Our own video watch found almost no footage of this game in the week to 10 September 2026, one video on one day and none on the others, so there is nothing for us to read those answers from.
What we can say with confidence is narrow and useful: the loop above is the developer's own, in the developer's own order, and every page on this site that goes further than it says which source it used and whether that source is this game.

Frequently asked
What do you do in Grow a Pet Fighter?
Four things, in the order the developer lists them: find and hatch eggs to collect pets, send those pets to the arena to battle, send them to the tower to climb, and fuse pets together to make new ones. Pets also generate cash while you are offline.
Is there a tutorial in Grow a Pet Fighter?
We do not know. The description contains a line labelled How to Play and then the four steps, which may be the whole of the game's explanation or may duplicate an in-game tutorial we have never seen.
What should I do first?
Hatch an egg, on the description's own order. Without a pet there is nothing to send to the arena or the tower, and fusion needs at least two pets before it can do anything.
