How Many Pets Are in Grow a Pet Fighter? What the Game Says
The pet list is not published, the game has no badges to leak names from, and the pets you fuse are the only progression it documents.
What the game calls its pets, and what that word is doing
The description uses one adjective about pets, and it uses it twice: hatch eggs to collect powerful pets, and fuse your pets together to create POWERFUL new pets. Both times the word is doing promotional work rather than descriptive work. It tells you pets have strength that matters, and it does not tell you how strength is shown, whether it is a number, a tier, a rarity or nothing visible at all.
The description never names a single pet. Contrast that with how a game usually markets a collecting mechanic: the second sentence of a store page normally lists the coolest things you can get, because names are what players search for. This one does not, and the consequence is that there is no pet name anywhere in the published material for anyone to search.
The game also pluralises pets without ever defining them individually, which leaves one genuinely open question about the roster: whether pets are distinct creatures with names, or variations of a smaller set of creatures with different strengths. Both designs are common in this genre and the description distinguishes between them nowhere.
Why there is no pet list to give you
There are four routes to a pet roster for a Roblox game, and this game closes all four. The description names none. The badge list is empty, so there is no First Golden Pet badge to work backwards from, which is the trick most wikis use on games where badges exist. Roblox's public API exposes no item, pet or shop data for any experience, so there is nothing to query. And community footage, which is normally the fallback, barely exists for this game: our collector counted one recent video about it on a single day in the week to 10 September 2026 and none on the others.
What that leaves is somebody opening the game and reading the pet menu. That is not a research problem, it is a two-minute task, and it is the single most useful contribution anybody could make to this site. The reason it has not happened is not difficulty, it is that nobody has written anything about this game at all.
What pets are for, which is the part we do know
If the roster is a blank, the uses are not. The description sends pets to two places and gives them one job at home. In the arena they battle. In the tower they climb. Offline they generate cash. And fusion consumes them to make a new one, which makes the pets you own a resource as well as a collection.
That combination has a practical consequence worth stating even though the numbers are missing. Since the only documented way to get a stronger pet is to fuse existing ones, pets are not purely additive: you are expected to trade several of them for one better one. A player deciding whether to keep a pet or fold it into a fusion is making the game's central decision, and the published material gives no guidance on it.
Are the pets from the two official images in the game?
Probably, and we are not going to call it a roster. The store icon and the thumbnail both show a striped orange tiger-like pet with a golden glow at its paws, and a white rabbit-like pet with purple light at its feet and lining its ears. Both images show the same two animals fighting in the same fenced dirt arena, and in the thumbnail the rabbit is on the ground.
Promotional art is built from whatever is most dramatic rather than from what is representative, so two animals in two images is not evidence that the game has two pets. It is evidence that these two exist, which is more than the description gives you, and it is the only pet information the developer has published anywhere outside those five sentences.
What we have not checked
We have not seen the pet list, the pet menu or a pet's stat screen, so we cannot tell you how many pets there are, how they are ranked, whether they come in variants, or whether the pets you hatch are random or chosen. We also cannot tell you whether the pets in the artwork are obtainable, rare, or simply the two that photographed well.
One thing we can promise about how this page will change: the moment a real screenshot or a developer statement gives us a pet name, the systems table on this site gets a row for it with its source labelled, and the label will say whether the name came from the developer, from Roblox, or from one player's account. That distinction is the only thing this site has that a longer wiki would not.

Frequently asked
How many pets are in Grow a Pet Fighter?
No count is published. The description names no pet at all, and with zero badges there is not even a badge name to infer one from, which is how other wikis normally estimate a roster.
What is the strongest pet?
We cannot say, and any site that answers this is working from something we could not find. Nothing published gives a pet a stat, a tier or a rarity, and there is no footage of a pet list being scrolled.
Do pets fight each other?
Pets are sent to the arena to battle and to the tower to climb, which is what the developer says. Whether they fight other players' pets or the game's own opponents is not stated, and we cover that question separately.
